Product Description

2k Matt Lacquer with Spray Gun with Spray Gun is a complete kit to protect your car or motorbike paint with a layer of 2K polyurethane lacquer. The package contains one 100 ml pot 2K lacquer (100 ml are equal to one 400 ml spray can), one pot of its catalyst and one SPRAY GUN. This high gloss lacquer is ideal to protect any paints in a professional way, particularly bodywork paints: it is a polyurethane lacquer, very resistant to alcohol, petrol and partially to solvents too. The kit includes even a small measuring glass and two separated containers (2k lacquer and catalyst) because it is a two- component lacquer: they must be combined at the moment of use.
PREPARATION AND USE: prepare the mixture combining 2 parts of lacquer and 1 part of catalyst (ratio 2:1). Every time prepare only the quantity that you need, because the mixture lenght after the preparation (the combination of lacquer and catalyst) is about 2 hours (at 20°C). To use it with gun or with our Spray Gun: dilute the mixture with polyurethane thinner, like our POLI60 (for further information about the quantities look at the Technical Details below). Do a spray test. Spray at about 20-25 cm distance. Apply a coat of paint spraying both in horizontal and vertical direction. If necessary, you can repeat the operation after 5-15 minutes (always when the paint is not completely dry).
The coverage of 100 ml of clear coat with thinner is about 1.5-2.50 mq.
NOTE: For further information about our Spray Gun - the professional portable sprayer. It works as an usual painting gun: you can use it several times after you have cleaned it with nitro solvent. With one propellant sprayer you can spread up to 500 ml of paint.
REMOVE WITH ACETONE AND/OR NITRO THINNER (before the paint drying).

100 ml LACQUER + 30 ml CATALYST + 50-70 ml THINNER.
Drying time:
- dry dust free (at 20°C and 60% RH) 15-20 min
- dry to the touch (at 20°C and 60% RH) 30-60 min
- dry in depth (at 20°C and 60% RH) 48 hours.
