NextClear matt - 2K spray high solid clear coat ml 400 Clear Extra Matt

NextClear is a high-solids 2K clear coat with a matt finish, manufactured directly by VerniciSpray.

This professional high-solids 2K matt clear coat offers an extremely matt finish (gloss level 9-12) and high scratch resistance. It is particularly suitable for automotive touch-up work, but its applications go beyond that. It is often used to achieve a matt finish on the bumpers of certain car models, to finish alloy wheels or to paint motorcycle fairings.

NextClear matt can be used whenever is required a matt finish that is resistant to scratches, ageing, yellowing, chemicals and petrol.

Instructions for use:

• NextClear matt comes in a special spray can that must only be activated immediately before its use.
• The clear coat and hardener are already contained separately inside the can. To activate the hardener, remove the red button from the cap, turn the can upside down and firmly press the button onto the stem at the bottom of the can.
• Shake the spray can thoroughly for several minutes to ensure the hardener and clear coat are properly mixed.
• Apply to the surface after lightly sanding it to ensure proper adhesion. If applying over a freshly painted surface, simply wait until the paint is visibly dry.
• Apply 2 coats: it is essential to apply light coats, as excessive product build-up when using matt finishes can result in a glossier appearance. The clear coat should therefore be applied evenly, maintaining a consistent film thickness to achieve a uniform matt finish.
• Drying times (at 20°C and 60% relative humidity): flash-off time 15 min, dust-free 20 min, touch dry 60 min, fully dry 48 h.

Coverage: approximately 1.5 m² per spray can.

Remove with acetone and/or nitro thinner (before the clear coat is fully dry).

Specific technical notes and warnings

Pot Life: use the contents of the spray can within 24-48 hours of activation. The usable life may be extended by storing the remaining product in a cool place (to slow down the curing process of the product left inside the can as much as possible).

It is always recommended to test the product on an inconspicuous area or a spare piece before application.
