2k Universal Polyester Filler in tin for Metals, Aluminum, Fiberglass

2k Polyester filler paste based on unsaturated polyester resins and mineral inert, characterized on a quick hardening and tenacious adhesion. This universal filler putty has a thin paste, easily applicable and lets to have both large thickness and thin clipping. The sandpapering is quick and easy, the paper doesn't dirty.
APPLICATION: The parts to be filled must be dry, clean, free of dust and roughened by sanding. Add the hardener to the putty according to the desired gelation times (depends on room temperature, please see Technical Details below). Mix carefully and apply by making the putty adhere well to the support pressing with the spatula. Then proceed with sanding, recommended abrasive paper grains: P80, P120, P180, P240.
FIELDS OF USE: indicated in all traditional bodywork boperations where dry sanding is required. Product also suitable in nautical sector.
Color: yellow Universal Body Filler.

Specific technical notes and warnings

Sandable: after 30 minutes on medium thickness (at 20° C and RH 65%).
Complete polymerization: after 2 hours (at 20° C and RH 65%).

Suitable substrates: steel, cast iron, aluminum, light alloys, galvanized steel, old paints and fiberglass free of release agents.
Unsuitable substrates: wash primer, epox primers with phenolic hardeners, thermoplastic paints, solvent sensitive primers.

Recommended hardener doses (by weight) according to temperature:
- up to 10°C: 3 / 100
- from 10 to 20°C: 2 / 100
- from 20°C: 1 / 100
