Product Description

NextRal 2K polyurethane paint, gloss finish. Color Ral 5013 cobalt blue.

The package includes:

  • 250 g can of polyurethane paint in the selected color
  • Required hardener
  • Graduated plastic mixing cup

The main features of this type of paint are:

  • Excellent scratch resistance
  • High gloss finish that does not tend to yellow over time.
  • UV resistance.
  • Resistance to chemicals and gasoline.

The 2K polyurethane paint must be mixed with the hardener immediately before use. Mix only the amount of product you intend to use: once activated, the paint should be used within approximately 2 hours (at 20°C).

The NextRal 2K paint range is available both in cans and in spray cans. Both formats are also available with a matt finish.

Mixing ratio:

100 ml of paint + 50 ml of hardener
For spray application: dilute by 10?20% with polyurethane thinner (not included).

Application:

  • By brush: add the required hardener to the paint and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous, ready-to-use product is obtained.
  • By spray: for spray gun applications, mix the paint with the hardener and then dilute the mixture with polyurethane thinner (not included). Dilution should be between 10% and 20%; increase gradually if necessary.
  • By roller: mix the paint and hardener as for brush application, then gradually dilute until the desired viscosity is achieved (use rollers suitable for solvent-based paints).

Warning: the more the paint is diluted, the lower its covering power will be. As a result, additional coats may be required to achieve full coverage with the selected color.

Coverage: 8 m²/kg
Removal: with acetone and/or nitro thinner before complete curing.
Drying times (20°C, 60% RH): dust-free 15 min, touch dry 60 min, fully dry 12?16 hours.

Technical Details and Useful suggests:

Applying a protective clear coat is not necessary. However, if you wish to provide additional protection to the freshly painted surface, we recommend using a 2K two-component clear coat.

The clear coat can be applied 1-2 hours after applying the selected paint or after it has fully cured (1-2 days later). Lightly sanding the surface to restore a matt finish before applying the chosen clear coat.
