Product Description

NextPrimer is VerniciSpray's sandable automotive primer, ideal for car touch-ups, small sheet metal repairs, and industrial painting applications.
It provides excellent anti-rust insulating properties and strong adhesion on difficult surfaces such as aluminum, galvanized sheet metal, unpainted metals, and plastic properly prepared with an adhesion promoter.

Why choose it?

• Excellent adhesion, comparable to an epoxy primer despite being a single-component product.
• Perfect on sanded existing paint and on exposed areas down to bare metal.
• Slow drying = greater stability: smoother surfaces, self-leveling effect, and improved paint adhesion.
• Available in many RAL shades, helping reduce the number of paint coats required and achieve a more uniform finish.
• Suitable for both professional and DIY use.
• Can also be used on plastic surfaces, provided they are pre-treated with a plastic primer / adhesion promoter before application.

When to use it:

• Car and bodywork touch-ups.
• Priming bare metal, deep scratches, and damaged surfaces.
• Small repairs on difficult metals (aluminum, galvanized sheet metal, and steel).
• Surface preparation before painting with NextNitro, NextRal, or VerniciSpray automotive paints.
• On pre-treated plastic surfaces to improve the adhesion of the selected paint.

Helpful tips:

• Choose a primer color that is as close as possible to the final paint shade: this improves coverage and reduces film build.
• Sanding is recommended after 24-48 hours, allowing the primer sufficient time to fully cure and reach its final thickness, enabling more precise sanding without the risk of sanding through it.
• Can be recoated after 24 hours.
