NextRims is the best spray paint for rims. It is a high quality paint ideal for surface subject to wear like motorcycle or car rims that are easy to scratch and ruin the vehicle aesthetically. You can buy this Gloss Coarse grain Metallic dark Grey Rims Paint both for little spot repair or for a full repainting of the whole rims.
The main properties that characterize NextRims are their high resistance to wear and corrosive products. These features makes it suitable for many surfaces, beside rims of cars and motorcycles. These paints are also excellent to give a unique touch of color to your boat, constantly in contact with marine environments, or an agricultural vehicle, exposed to UV rays and various atmospheric agents. More over, it is also resistant to washing brushes and high pressure washing lances.
NextRims assures bright colours with no yellowing: available in many colours, gloss or matt finish, also metallic direct gloss. Please contact us to request different colours than those we show below.
ACTIVATION OF THE SPRAYCAN: It is a 2k spray with a catalyst capsule inside, so it must be activated only at the time of use. It's very simple: just remove the red plastic button from the cap, press it hard in the stem on the bottom of aerosol and shake very well for some minutes. It must be used within 24-48 hours: keep in a cool place to avoid catalysis acceleration.
HOW TO PAINT RIMS: Before painting, always thoroughly clean the surface, better with antisilicone degreaser. If the rims are already painted, sand the old paint to make it matt and allow the grip: use a scotch brite instead of abrasive paper if the surface is in good condition and only needs a light sanding. In case of unpainted metal (for example if you have to paint alloy wheels), apply the VerniciSpray NextPrimer or a 2k epoxy primer for the paint adhesion.
The temperature of the spray must be 20-25°C. Apply 2-3 coats (interval about 20 min, 20°C). To avoid dripping: especially with matt colours it is essential to apply thin coats, otherwise if the paint accumulates in excessive quantity it could tend to become glosser. The application of a protective clear coat is not necessary but if you want to apply it, wait 1-2 hours (20°C).
