Product Description

If you are thinking about repairing small scratches on your car, VerniciSpray has the right solution for you.

VerniciSpray metallic car paints are well known and appreciated for their high performance qualities. They are available in different formats to meet a wide range of needs.

Here we offer the 100 ml jar for your MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR, produced to the highest standards of precision thanks to our digital tinting machine.

When should you choose paint in a pot?

How do you know whether to choose a spray can, a paint jar, or a touch-up pen for your car's color?

It all depends on the type of repair you need to carry out. If the area to be painted is large, a spray can or loose paint applied with a spray gun is the best option. If, on the other hand, you need to touch up one or more small, localized areas, you can opt for brush-on paint or a touch-up stick.

The 100 ml format is the ideal solution for small bodywork touch-ups, which can be easily applied with a brush and without the need to mask the surrounding areas.

How to use:

If applying the paint with a brush

  • Clean the surface thoroughly using a silicone remover.
  • Stir the paint well before application.
  • Apply 2-3 coats of paint, allowing the previous coat to dull and lose its ?wet look? before applying the next one.
  • Once the paint is dry to the touch, apply the clear coat.
  • After completing the job, wait a few days for both the paint and the clear coat to fully cure, then use a fine abrasive polishing compound to remove any step between the new and the original paint.

If applying the paint with a spray gun

  • Clean the surface thoroughly using a silicone remover.
  • Mix the paint well and dilute it appropriately.
  • The dilution ratio depends on the type of spray gun used (nozzle size, pressure, etc.) and on the desired viscosity (thicker or thinner).
  • We recommend following the our's dilution guidelines. If you wish to adjust the thinner ratio, do so gradually and always test the product before applying it.
  • Apply 2-3 coats of paint, allowing each coat to dull and lose its wet appearance before applying the next one.
  • Once the paint is dry to the touch, apply the clear coat.

Bodyshop tips

When applying paint with a brush, it is important to blend the new paint carefully with the surrounding original paint. Otherwise, you risk creating an unpleasant ridge between the old and new paint, as well as visible brush marks.

How can this be avoided?

Our advice is to apply very thin coats of paint, preferring one or two extra passes rather than a single heavy coat.

Applying too much product with only one coat can prevent the paint from leveling properly. Thin coats naturally take more time, as the paint must be applied in several stages and allowed to dry correctly between coats, but this ensures optimal leveling on the surface.

This results in a more uniform finish and helps prevent halos or streaks caused by the brush during drying.

Important note

All metallic car paints are two-coat systems, regardless of the chosen format. This means that metallic paint alone will not match the original finish unless a clear coat is applied over the color.
After completing your brush touch-up with the selected paint, you can apply a 2K protective clear coat with a brush or use a spray clear coat.
What's important is that a protective clear coat is applied after the color coat.
